Small Pet Cremation

At Pets in Peace we understand that losing your small pet will have a huge impact on your life. Your small pet is part of the family, and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect in their final moments.

We offer cremations for a variety of small pets including hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits and goldfish. If your pet isn’t listed please do get in touch, and we will do everything we can to help you.

How you say goodbye to your pet is personal and poignant, and we aim to accommodate your needs as much as possible with our personalised cremation services. As pet owners ourselves, we have great sympathy for all of our clients because we know how it feels to lose a cherished companion.

In these difficult circumstances, we pride ourselves in offering all of our clients both practical help and emotional support. We will be there for you to listen, offer comfort where we can, and help you get through such a tough time.

Individual Cremation for Small Pets

We can offer individual cremation within the scope of the Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria (APPCC) code of practice. The service is respectful, dignified and caring. We will return the ashes of your pet to you in a vessel of your choice, with an engraved plaque bearing your pet’s name.

Every pet in our care is treated as an individual, and our private cremation means that you can rest assured in the knowledge that we will place the ashes of your pet into the vessel of your choice.

Vessels for Ashes and Memorial Stones for Small Pets

Our wide range of vessels for ashes includes memento style urns as well as scatter tubes. We can also provide memorial stones for your garden that will serve as a fitting tribute to your pet. All of our vessels and memorials are of excellent quality, and can help give you the space you need to reflect on the time you shared with your pet.

Your pet does not need to be registered with one of our affiliate veterinary surgeries to be given a proper goodbye with Pets in Peace. However, if you are accessing our services through one of our veterinary practices, you will need to contact the practice directly and give them the code of the vessel you have chosen.

At Pets in Peace, we are here to support you through the heart-breaking time of losing your pet, in a respectful and dignified manner. If you need a helping hand to say goodbye to your pet properly or you would like to be prepared for the future, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to chat to you.
